HEC-GeoRAS - Channel Length

Hi,

I have a trouble with Channel length in HEC-GeoRAS.

I created a GeoRAS model and then I would like to add some more cross-sections in the middle of the 'already-created' cross-sections. HEC-GeoRAS did not report any trouble. However, when checking the table of Attributes of XSCutLines, I realised that the length between the cross-section was not correct. It seemed that the table remains the properties (channel length) of the old model.

What should I do?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Best regards

Tri Van

Make sure you did the following
1-run all the attributes of the new cross sections, mainly channel length and station
2-export the new cross section and the old XS just upstream of the new XS
3-import both new and old XS (just upsream of the new XS)
4-check the channel lenght

This should help you
