HEC-RAS 2

I have used HEC-RAS II quite successfully on several projects and I am very happy with the product. It seems to give good correlation with observed flow profiles even on the very steep small rivers that we get here in South Wales.

On my most recent project I have to deal with a bridge which is highly skewed to the direction of flow. The User Manual says that I can enter a skew angle at the Bridge Deck data screen, but I find that the Skew Angle option is not high-lighted and that I cannot enter the data. Can you help?

There appears to be a work-around by using the sloped abutments option, but that isn't very satisfactory.

Also, when using some of the options in the Bridge Computation Approach you are referred to Appendices in the HEC-Ras Hydraulics Reference Manual. Where can I see this?
