problems saving projects in HECRAS 2.2

Dear Tony

I recently purchased the $40 version of HECRAS 2.2. I have been using our version of HECRAS 2.2 in our Johannesburg office and am trying to make changes on my machine. Geometry and plan files appear to be saving OK but I get an "error saving project data" message when I get to that stage. So if I exit HECRAS the new plan and geometry data files don't appear and it reverts to the files I was previously working on.

Dear Claire Hammond :

Note that HEC-RAS will have problems saving files if you nest your files too deeply on your hard drive. I suggest that you store the files closer to the root directory.
