HEC-RAS Print Setup

Dear fellow HEC-Ras users:

I recently downloaded version 2.1 of HEC-RAS from the US Army COE's home page. I installed the software on a PC running Windows NT 4.0.

The software seems to run normally except for printing. Any time I am in a print menu screen, either graphics or text tables, the "Setup" button does not respond, and neither does the "Help" button in these screens. Help works normally otherwise.

Is this a bug in this software? Or is it more likely something peculiar to my PC or network that I'm overlooking? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: HEC-RAS Print Setup

Do you have a printer installed on your workstation? (I don't mean an actual printer connected by a cable to that computer, but a printer driver installed on your copy of NT.)

Re: HEC-RAS Print Setup

Dear HEC-Users:

Thank you, Roy Dodson for your quick response!

In response to Roy's suggestion, I checked the PC where I installed HEC-RAS and confirmed that a number of printer drivers (mostly HP LaserJets) and plotter drivers are installed. I also confirmed that if I change the default printer in my Windows NT setup, the change is reflected in the print dialog box in HEC-RAS. However, the "Setup" and "Help" buttons are still unresponsive.

I should add that I can print out a table or graph, but have no control over the setup.
