HEC-RAS Version 2.0 Bug

We received confirmation from the HEC today of a minor problem with HEC-RAS Version 2.0.

There are two types of pipe arches: one that has a corner radius of 18 inches, and the other that has a corner radius of 31 inches. The graphic routines in HEC-RAS Version 2.0 always plot the type that has a corner radius of 18 inches. This makes the culvert appear much wider (in cross-section) than it should be. This is a problem with the graphic routines only; the computations are not affected.

The HEC will release Version 2.0.1, which will address this bug and several others. Version 2.0.1 is currently expected to be released sometime in August or September, 1997.
