HEC-RAS interpolated cross-sections

Dear Nicole,

I'm sorry, but I've another little problem with HEC-RAS and I'm asking you an help to solve it. I find, in some river stations, a master chord ( green coloured - as the one that join the banks) in the middle of channel. This condition seems determine a water flow through the bank. I find that area located in external position respect the channel, in which the water surface is more depressed than banks. I've improved to remove the green master chord, but it's impossible, because the only default chord that can be deleted is the channel invert ( red coloured ). I can't solve his problem without your help, into the User Manual I've not found some answer about this problem. If it's possible, I can make an attachment of my file

Waiting for an answer..
Cordially

Re: HEC-RAS interpolated cross-sections

Dear Stefano Fratini :

I tried adding interpolated cross-sections with your data and HEC-RAS 2.2.1 (the latest version) and did not have any problems. Note that some of your cross-sections are very close together, and so they will not interpolate any interior cross-sections since there is no distance available to insert the interpolated cross-sections.

If you have any additional questions or need any further information, please contact me again.

Sincerely,
