rainfall data

> Hello William James
>
> I'm a grad student at University of South Florida and I'm doing a research to analyse the impact of temporal variability rainfall on runoff. For my research I'm interested in continuous rainfall data or minute to minute data. If you have it or know where can I find that information I would appreciate you let me know.

Tatiana

I am taking the liberty of posting your query to three model users lists.

A widely cited source is EarthInfo.

I would be willing to investigate sharing some time-of-tip tipping-bucket raingauge data with you, but I need to have a statement of your research and publication purposes first, so that I can seek permission. Some is from the montane regions of Western Canada.

It is hard to get good rain coverage. If you get data you should catalog it carefully and try to store it in a widely-available database perhaps on the web.
