Questions about HEC-RAS

I have an existing HEC-RAS model created in Version 2.1. It runs under mixed conditions with seemingly good results. I would like to upgrade to Version 2.2, but the model won't run under mixed conditions. I get the error "forrt1: severe (161) Program Exception-array bounds exceeded". The model will run with Version 2.2 under supercritical conditions. I would like to know whether there is a glitch in converting from 2.1 to 2.2 and the consequences of running the model under supercritical conditions as opposed to mixed flow, if any.

Re: Questions about HEC-RAS

Hello;

In addition to the new version, did you get the patch that replaces the computation engine(snet.exe)for 2.2? If not, you should do that first. If the model is not supercritical throughout in the old (2.1) version, then it is likely a similar condition would be the result of running V 2.2 successfully. Is it possible that the boundary conditions defined originally have been altered or lost?
