Junctions in HEC-RAS

I'm a fairly new user of HEC-RAS 2.2 and I seem to be having some difficulty in entering junctions into my models. When I attempt to add a junction, an error message is returned saying "No Junctions are available to edit". Am I simply approaching this in the wrong manner? Thanks in advance.
