Re: HEC-6 INFO

Nick - ASCE Hydraulic Engineering Journal 10.96 "Modeling Sediment in Gravel-Bedded Streams using HEC-6" Havis et al, generally Forest Service people.

"Application of HEC-6 to Ephemeral Rivers of Arizona", Dust, et al; for sale from Arizona Dept of Transportation. Report number FHWA/AZ 86/214

The HEC folks have had short papers in some of the Annual ASCE conference proceedings - particularly the mid 1990s, but these are generally available as reprints from HEC which I assume you have.

Re: HEC-6 INFO

Nick

If your interested in bridge scour and /or river bed erosion, there are several sources available, which might actually be some of the source formulae for the HEC-6 program.

I. "Stream Stability and Scour at Highway Bridges"-Compendium of Papers, ASCE Water Resources Engineering Conferences, 1991-1998. Edited by E.V. Richardson and P.F. Lagasse. (ASCE, 1801 Alexander Bell Dr., Reston, Virginia 20191-4400)

2,3,4. HEC (Hydraulic Engineering Circular) #18,20 & 23. "Evaluating Scour at Bridges","Stream Stability at Highway Bridges", and "Bridge Scour and Stream Instability Countermeasures, Experience, Selection and Design Guidance". All by the US Federal Highway Administration-Dept. of Commerce. Can be obtained via the National Technical Information Service, Springfield, VA 22161.
