Can anybody recommend any sources (Internet or otherwise) regarding HEC-6
besides USACE documentation? Thanks.

The HEC folks have had short papers in some of the Annual ASCE conference proceedings - particularly the mid 1990s, but these are generally available as reprints from HEC which I assume you have.

If your interested in bridge scour and /or river bed erosion, there are several sources available, which might actually be some of the source formulae for the HEC-6 program.

"Evaluating Scour at Bridges","Stream Stability at Highway Bridges", and "Bridge Scour and Stream Instability Countermeasures, Experience, Selection and Design Guidance". All by the US Federal Highway Administration-Dept. of Commerce. Can be obtained via the National Technical Information Service, Springfield, VA 22161.
