In my experience, Crossing HGL/EL profiles first appeared in HEC- 2 normal bridge routines but not special bridge routines. I used only the special bridge routine after that and have checked every version of RAS with my canned, pre-hand calculated check culvert problem. There was never a problem with crossing profiles until I checked RAS-V3 and the old crossing profiles appeared again. I am not using V3 until the dust clears. I believe the problem is that the Corps stopped using the old DOS snet calculating routine and changed to a new windows calculating routine. This was necessary, I assume, since WIN-XP does not support DOS.
