Dear Lars:
Note that you need to have the software "regenerate" the ground terrain by selecting "Always Regenerate Ground Terrain". This is because the software only generates the ground terrain once. So, if it generates the ground terrain previously with a different setting, it will not change it until you select this.
Note that we have had no reports of the floodplain mapping module crashing AutoCAD 14 (or 2000). However, there always remains the chance that we have a problem in our software. If you can send us your drawing file as a ZIP file (to
support@bossintl.com), we will try to reproduce the problem. Similarly with regard to your concern about the floodplain mapping problem you described.
I suggest that our technical support staff (email
support@bossintl.com) should be your first line of defense for technical support, rather than our online forums.
