left over lines from deletion

I deleted several cross sections in an RMS model from a reach, but the only thing that went away in the topo view is the reach id...the ovals and lines from the old sections stayed there. When I tried to manually delete these items it gave me an error saying that these entities cannot be deleted. How can I get rid of these old sections?

Dear Kim:

Simply unload RMS and then use the standard AutoCAD ERASE command to delete these entities.
