freezing layers

Chris - Are you allowed to freeze Boss layers? Will it cause an error? I would just like to freeze the topocut layer so I can see my topo better but I do not want to screw anything up. What do you advise?

Re: freezing layers

Dear Kimberly :

You can "temporarily" freeze our layers. Our layers start with the label "BOSS_". However, before you run any of our commands, you need to thaw these layers again. This is because AutoCAD will not allow our software to retrieve data contained on frozen layers, and can cause the drawing file to become corrupt should the RMS / RiverCAD software attempt to update information on frozen layers.

If you have any additional questions or need any further information, please contact me again.

Sincerely,
