Overlapping cross-sections
Chris, River Cad Question...
Can I have cross sections which overlap one another?

Dear Jennifer :

If you are cutting cross-sections on a topo map for separate streams, they can overlap as long as you are correctly accounting for the flow. However, if you are dealing with cross-sections that overlap each other on a single reach of river, then you should correct them so that they don't overlap.
