Bridge Floodway Encroachments

I would like to set specific encroachment stations for my bridges in HEC-Ras 3.1.3. The Hydraulic Reference Guide mentions that one may turn on or off an encroachment method for bridges. However, whether I am using the Energy or Weir/Pressure Flow, in the Encroachment Editor, my bridges are "browned out." I can not enter any encraochment method for these bridges. Does anyone know where I can enable an encroachment method for my bridges? Thank You.

You cannot encroach the channel within a bridge structure. This is a restriction built into HEC-RAS. And, also from an engineering and practical method, you don't want to do this as well.
