error in writing intermediate computation file

Does anyone have experience in eleminating the RAS error message saying "Error in Writing Intermediate Computation File" and "Permission denied"

I was given this message after entering my seventh cross section, and then running RMS.

In frustration, I deleted all cross section, and then added two at the downstream end of the model.

This error message appeared again, with all new input data. The model ran just fine with 6 cross sections, but not the 7th.

I can't seem to make any model work.....

Any suggestions?

Re: error in writing intermediate computation file

After posting this question,

I put in example L01S.dwg and

I got this same error message....

so the problem is not with my model.

Hi Justin,

Thank you for letting us know about the issue. It has been fixed already, and will be available in the next release of RiverCAD XP for AutoCAD which will be released shortly.

Re: error in writing intermediate computation file

Thank you.

Before you replied, I uninstalled and then reinstalled the program, and now it works fine. Whatever caused this error was resolved with reinstallation.

Again thank you for your prompt reply...and this is one of the main reasons for purchasing software from BOSS International...you are always fast to lend technical assistance when rarely needed.

regards

Justin
