Flooplain Mapping

I have made changes to the existing surface geometry in RiverCAD and run the model to produce different flood levels. However this will not update my surace that the software is using for modelling and the floodplain mapping seems to use this surface to display the flood extents.

Is there a way that the changes in the surface geometry can update the AutoCAD surface layer?

Nathan:

Note that RiverCAD only generates the ground terrain once--since this generally does not change--when it does its floodplain mapping. However, if you are needing RiverCAD to update the ground terrain, you can select the check box "Regenerate Ground Terrain".

Re: Flooplain Mapping

Select Output | Floodplain Map Results. From the displayed dialog you will be able to check this box.
