Bridge Scour

Will rivercad calculate scour through multiple openings. I noticed in the manual that it states "BOSS RMS can estimate the amount of potential scour at a SINGLE opening bridge" however before we ordered the program i was informed it would perform scour on culverts as well. Where can i find the instructions on how to do this?

To model the scour at multiple bridge openings, you need to break the model up to look at the scour at each opening. There is a fairly easy trick in RiverCAD for doing that, and our technical support engineers can demonstrate to you how to compute the scour for each of the openings.

RiverCAD cannot directly compute the scour at a culvert, but you can compute the scour immediately downstream of the culvert. This is were people are concerned with scour at culverts. Again, our technical support engineers can assist you with that.
