Generate the Floodplain Between Specified Cross Sections

I'm running out of memory when I try to generate the floodplain on Rivercad. Can I generate the floodplain in "pieces"? (I mean between specified xsecs)?

Thanks

Re: Generate the Floodplain Between Specified Cross Sections

Hi,

In RiverCAD you cannot generate floodplain between specified cross-sections in a reach. But you could generate floodplains for each individual reaches separately, if you have multiple reaches in your project.

Thanks,

Re: Generate the Floodplain Between Specified Cross Sections

Note that the floodplain mapping should not run out of memory unless you have an extremely large AutoCAD drawing and your computer has limited memory.

You can also break your existing reach into separate reaches. In that way, you should be able to get around this problem.

If you have any additional questions or need any further information, please contact me directly.
