Junctions

Does RiverCAD allow two reaches to come together at a junction and then continue downstream as a new reach?

Everything I have seen allows multiple reaches, but they all have to be independently defined. Junctions are allowed in Hec-RAS and was just wondering if they were incorporated into RiverCAD.

Re: Junctions

Yes, junctions are in RiverCAD. Select Reach | Junctions. You need to have at least 3 reaches in order to have a junction (as you do in HEC-RAS).

If you don't have the latest RiverCAD, you will need to download it off of our website, at:

Let me know if you need any other assistance.
