diversion dam trap efficiency

I used RiverCad to estimate water profile before and after river improvement this program do it as I think,well and unblievable
as you know after river improvement I want to design seven diversion dam sequentialy on this river my client want to know if the sluice way's of these diversion dam during flood could conveyance sediment loads or it will fill with sediment,can I investigate this criteria?

Using the analysis results from RiverCAD HEC-RAS, you would have to manually compute the sediment transport and sediment trap efficiency.

The USGS recently published a report on sediment trap efficiency for small reservoirs:
