trace line cut error

I'm cutting cross sections using the trace line cut feature and a few are accurate but some grids don't reflect the topo. in addition, when I cut the xs, boss truncates the xs line. Can anyone help? I can send the file if need be..

Note that the RiverCAD Trace Line command will end the cross section where it runs out of terrain data. So, if the line you drew does not terminate on a contour or TIN edge, then RiverCAD will end the line at the last elevation data it can find.
