Function for automatic multiple cross-section cutting?

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a function in River CAD that will automatically cut cross-sections along a river reach with a pre-defined distance between each cross-section?

For example if you have a reach of length 1000m can you define that cross-sections are cut every 50m upstream/downstream of a pre-determined basepoint, which would generate 20 cross-section grids without having to manually cut each cross-section.

Is such a function available in River CAD?

Thanks for the help

Note that RiverCAD can extract cross sections at pre-defined distances for any length of river (up to 800 cross sections). All you need to do is select the river alignment (at the downstream end), and specify some additional parameters regarding spacing, section numbering, what to do for cross section overlapping, etc.

For RiverCAD XP, select :
Input | Ground Geometry | Automated Centerline Cut
For RiverCAD Pro, select :
Input | Design | Automated Centerline Cut
Selecting this command will display the Automated Centerline Cut dialog, as I have shown in the attached image.
