TNT.10118 Error when running HEC-RAS Anaylsis in RMS

This error message usually occurs when the user is trying
to run HEC-RAS analysis.

HEC-RAS analysis engine is an external program which
requires certain amount of extended memory. By default
AutoCAD R12 DOS takes all available extended memory space.
To solve this, we have to reserve extended memory for
the HEC-RAS analysis engine.

To help our users, we ship a utility called XMSCHECK.EXE
with RMS. With this utility, the user can easily configure
AutoCAD to reserve extended memory.

This utility configures AutoCAD to limit the usage of XMS memory
for external programs used by BOSS ADS applications.

Usage:

XMSCHECK acadpath xmsbytes </SILENT>

The specified 'acadpath' should be your AutoCAD directory which
contains the program ACAD.EXE. For example, if AutoCAD is installed
in the directory C:ACAD, type:

XMSCHECK C:ACAD 8388608 /SILENT

We suggest that at least 3 MB of extended memory be reserved.
