Re: Calibrating with Manning's n
This is easy. BOSS RMS will automatically propagate the Manning's n values upstream when you define a value for the left overbank, channel, and right overbank. Note that you do NOT have to specify the Manning's roughness values at every cross-section--only where it changes in value. This is the way that HEC-2 used to do work (the current version of HEC-RAS from the Corps of Engineers does not allow this, you must specify it at every cross-section), and so we wrote RMS so that it would do the same thing for HEC-RAS.
