Automatic Manning Roughness Calibration

In the BOSS RMS manual in chapter 3, page 3-3 the
manual states, "HEC RAS provides additional
capabilities, including and alternate sub-area
conveyance computational methodology and an
automatic Manning roughness calibration routine"
but I have not been able to find anything else about
this routine in the manual.

Could you tell me where I could find this in the
manual or whether or not BOSS RMS contains this
routine in the current version.

This is something that HEC (Hydrologic Engineering
Center) has been planning to add. We had hoped it would
be in the version 2.0 upgrade, but it is not there.

So, for right now it is vaporware.
