RCAD locating road stations

I have found a different problem. I can't locate a roadway station
point without it being a ground station point. What I mean by this is
that we have road points like -100, -20, 0, 25, 75, 100 and the
ground points might be -90, 0, 25, 50, 80. RCAD seems to take the
ground points and change the station to match a ground station.

When I type in the road points -100 goes to -90 and -20 goes to -25,
etc. Is there a way to change this so you can have a road station
different from the ground station?

Re: RCAD locating road stations

Dear Gregory:

Note that the HEC-RAS Opening Definitions dialog box has a check box for
selecting whether to snap to an existing ground station. This is "ON" by
default. That is why the roadway stationing is snapping to existing
ground stations. To get around this, go to the HEC-RAS Opening
Definitions dialog box and uncheck this box.

If you have any additional questions or need any further information,
please contact me again.

Sincerely,

Chris E. Maeder
