Floodway Encroachment

Hi Chris,

I did a floodplain encroachment analysis and would like to show these left and right encroachment stations on the topo map. Can you tell me how this is done?

This is very easy to do. You want to use the "Simple Water Surface" option in the Floodplain Map Results dialog box. This will show where the encroachment stations are located. Note that RMS will draw a straight line connecting the cross-section encroachment stations. You can then draw your own floodplain encroachment line on top of them so that it tends to follow the river, and then erase our lines (using the <Erase> command in the Floodplain Map Results dialog box).
