Re: inserting new data

Dear Jason :

You should be able to insert additional topo data, but you will probably need to explode the blocks that get inserted. Otherwise, RMS will not be able to read this topo data.

If you have any additional questions or need any further information, please contact me again.

inserting new data

I have created a bunch of crosssections in RMS under autocad 14. I wish to add
additional topo lines to the current DWG and create other x-sections from the
added topo lines. It appears that every time that I try to insert the new topo
lines they are created as a block, with none of the original Z data associated
with them. I could create the additional topo lines in a different session and
then import the data into either RMS or River cad but am unsure how to go about
this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Jason Mace
