DEM is disappearing when I zoom in

Nicole,

I am importing a DEM into RiverCad. How do I manipulate this data. Every
time I click on the magnifying glass to view closer, my DEM's disappear. If
this is in the manual, please let me know and I will follow from there?

Note that this is discussed in Chapter 3, in the DEM section. However, it is something small that can be easily overlooked.

By default, the DEM Module simply "paints" the contours on the computer screen as temporary vectors. They are not actually drawn into the CAD drawing file. This is done to speed up the program. If it has to draw these contours into the CAD drawing, then the display of the contours would be much slower. This option is so that you can "preview" the contours before you actually commit to them.

To "draw" them into the CAD drawing file, simply select the "Draw Option" in the DEM dialog box. By default, it is set to the "Show Option", that simply paints them onto the screen.
