Option to Reverse Stationing Data of Cross Section Geometries

Dear Technical Support:

I have your Boss HEC-RAS version 2.2, which should include the Option to reverse
cross-sectional stationing geometries. However, I have not come across any
instructions as to how to access it, and how to use it.
A couple of days ago I realized I had the convention backward, i.e., river stations
increasing numerically looking upstream, but cross-sectional data input looking
downstream. I knew from a HEC-RAS Short Course I took at the University of Hawaii

in November, 1999, that this option existed at the time, but a year and a half later, I
can't remember how to access it and how to use it. Can you help me? Thanking
you in advance for your prompt response.

Re: Option to Reverse Stationing Data of Cross Section Geometries

Dear Alan :

Note that in RMS, you can select Input | Ground Geometry | Adjust Geometry. The
Adjust Geometry dialog box will be displayed, allowing you to reverse the
cross-section cut direction.

If you have any additional questions or need any further information, please contact
me again.

Sincerely,

Chris E. Maeder, M.S.
