Not recognizing contour lines

In the drawing, you will notice that I added new topo on the south-center edge of the

drawing [colors cyan (layer: CONTMJR) and yellow (layer: CONTMNR)]. Please look at cross section 32100. This cross section demonstrates the problem that I have experienced. When I originally cut this cross section using "screen 3D topo" the cross section line was across the new topo as well as the old topo. Now it just crosses the old topo.

Note that this file does not show the new topo in a different color from the old topo. Go to layer manager and change the colors of CONT- MJR & CONT-MNR in order to see the new topo that we added. Also cross section 32100 is not part of the file. Please try to cut a new cross section across the new topo as well as the old topo. If your RiverCAD is operating like mine, the cross section will not show on the new topo. Thanks

Re: Not recognizing contour lines

Dear Rich :

Note that I have downloaded your file and looked at the contours that you added to
the drawing file. If I type "EINFO" or "LIST" at the RiverCAD command line, then
click on one of the new contour lines, all of the new contour lines are highlighted.
This means that these inserted contour lines are actually a block. RiverCAD needs to
see these contour lines as individual lines and not as a block insert. If you explode
this block (without exploding any RiverCAD drawing entities), then RiverCAD should
be able to use these contour lines.

If you have any additional questions or need any further information, please contact
me again.

Sincerely,

Chris E. Maeder, M.S.
