Problems with Pop-up cursor menu

Chris,

I am running LDD and Boss RMS 2000. I am able to load RMS in a drawing and the program runs correctly. When I am finished using RMS, I unload the program and change my computer profile (located in "preferences") to LDD only. I then leave the drawing I am in and start a different drawing. In the new drawing, when I try to use the OSNAP pop-up cursor menu for LDD, it is still set to the RMS pop-up cursor menu. I cannor seem to change from the RMS menu back to a regular LDD menu. Any ideas about this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Re: Problems with Pop-up cursor menu

Dear Eric McDaniel :

Note that LDD does not like RMS. Autodesk tries to cripple outside applications with LDD. The best way to work with LDD and RMS, is to have 2 shortcuts to AutoCAD--one for LDD and one for straight AutoCAD. When you install RMS 2000, it sets up a shortcut to the plain AutoCAD. You should run RMS from here. Then, when you need to run LDD, then load it through their shortcut.

We have complained numerous times to Autodesk about this arrangement, and have not yet gotten a satisfactory response from them.

If you have any additional questions or need any further information, please contact me again.

Sincerely,
