Importing XYZ coordinate data for multiple cross sections

Chris,

I'm adding or stitching survey data for channels to floodplain cross sections cut from a topo. I have done this successfully using the methods outlined in Chapter 3 Section 3.7.2 (File Input Method: xyz file, HEC-2 file, station-elevation point file). My question is this: Can I "stitch" multiple cross sections together using a single survey file? Or is the multiple coordinate import file detailed in Section 3.8.5 (Importing Survey Cross-Section Data) only used to draw and replace cross sections on the topo without "stitching" to existing cross sections?

Thank you for your help.

Re: Importing XYZ coordinate data for multiple cross sections

Dear Matt :

RiverCAD and RMS both can handle multiple cross-sections in a single survey file.

If you have any additional questions or need any further information, please contact me again.
