StormNet use in Arizona

Consultants:
Have you had success with approval of using this software with municipalities or agencies in the Phoenix area - or in Arizona in general?

Re: StormNet use in Arizona

Note that we recently implemented the Papadakis-Kazan ToC method that the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (FCDMC) recommends. We have compared the results with DDMSW, which was developed by and is distributed by the FCDMC (http://www.fcd.maricopa.gov/Resources/DDMSW/default.asp). It is a fairly clunky program, but from our internal testing StormNET's ToC values match exactly. Note that we have only released version this to our beta clients in the Maricopa County region. It will be in a publicly-released version of StormNET shortly. However, you can contact our technical staff and I am certain that they can get you this beta release.

Sincerely,

Re: StormNet use in Arizona

I am in Mohave County and I recently bought this program at the recommendation of Bruce Bosshard, P.E. He has been using it in our area for a while and I'm sure his reports include Exhibits that are generated by Stormnet.

Note that we have added rainfall for the entire USA on a county by county level (and major cities) with the latest beta. Check out the Rainfall Designer. It makes setting up your rainfall data a breeze.
