Erro message & question

I have a copy of your soft ware (stormnet). After I have modelled a waste water disposal system and tired to run the analysis, I got the message that says: Error Report for File Trialdrove

Too few items at line 213:
[HYDROGRAPH]
UH-1

Again I want to know the relationship between Invert elevation, minimium elevation and maximium elevation. what is IDF?(please give me the full letters of it) and explanation as to its application in the data imput and analysis
Regards
Teddy

Re: Erro message & question

Hi,

The error message you encountered will come if you have defined any external inflow to any of the junctions as Unit Hydrograph but the data need to be entered are missing.

In the junctions dialog box invert elevations are the sump elevations of manholes or junctions. Maximum elevations are the rim elevations/ground elevations of manholes/junctions. Initial elevations are the elevations of water if there is any water already exists in your manhole/junctions before the start of your simulation period.

The full form of IDF is Intensity-Duration-Frequency Curve. IDF curves are being used as rainfall inputs if you are using Rational/ Modified Rational as your hydrology/subbasin hydrograph method method.

Thanks,

Re: Erro message & question

Thanks for your help.
I defined external inflows( such as flows from sub-basins - if they could be classified as such) and imputed datas to the relevant field(even if they are not the actual figures but with the purpose to test the behaviour of the soft ware as to follow on how to run the analysis). Each time that I ran the analysis, I received the same message. I defined up to 12 separate groups of that data with accompaning graphs yet I ended up with same message. Pls tell me what to do.
