Channels/Links

I am a new stormnet user, when using subbasins i am not getting the opportunity to input channels or links at certain point on the horizontal view because the subbasin asks for an exsit node/outlet that preveting this. so how do i analyse a channel thats suppose to be in the horizontal view but is not accounted for in the model calculations?

Re: Channels/Links

Getting up and running with StormNET is quite simple. Subbasins drain to a drainage point--typically a junction. Therefore, you should create a junction. Then, right click on the subbasin and choose "Connect To". Then StormNET will prompt you to connect to the junction you created. Click on the junction and the subbasin will be connected.

If you are just starting out with StormNET, please feel free to contact our technical support at our toll-free number of 800-488-4775, and they will be glad to assist you in getting your model running.
