time of concentration

Hi:

I'm a new user and am going throught the manual to try and become proficient with the software. In looking at the manual provided with the software, there is some differences between the manual and the software. One area that appears different is the time of concentration sections.

I'm using the SCS Tc. There isn't much discussion about entering the data for Tc in the manual or in the help screens. I've got v4.5.0.9427.

The screens for subbasin data seem to permit the entry of data digitizing directly from the screen. I've started in the sheet flow tab. I can get started but it won't let me complete a segement and get that info into the data line.

There is very little discussion on how to complete this task in the manual or help screens and they appear different from the manual to the screens in the software.

Any suggestions of how to find this basic info?

Re: time of concentration

Bart:

The software has been improved from the version documented in the User Manual, and we are currently finishing up the new version of the User Manual.

What we can do to assist you, is jump on to your computer remotely, or demonstrate how you define TOC. It is quite easy to do, and I think that in a couple of minutes you will be up and running.

Sincerely
