V-notch weir

I tried looking through the manuals on this but didn't find a clear answer.

On the V-notch weir there are inputs for side slope, length, and height. It says that the Length is that opening perpendicular to the flow. So my question is wouldn't the side slope and the height dictate the length? Or wouldn't the side slope and length dictate the height? it seems like there is an extra variable or something is not properly defined.

You are correct, this is confusing and will get fixed in the next release of StormNET.

You need to enter the LENGTH value, which corresponds to the top width of the V-notch weir (perpendicular to the flow). The SLOPE field should (and will in the update) be grayed out (unavailable).
