| RiverCAD provides an integrated Digital Terrain Modeling (DTM) Module, allowing you to quickly develop a digital terrain model of the river from nearly any type of data, including spot elevations, survey data, LIDAR data, Autodesk LDD data, MicroStation DTM data, etc. Improvements and enhancements to the river channel and floodplain can be quickly incorporated into the terrain model, allowing you to see the change to the computed flooding. Changes to bridge abutments can be quickly added to a model, and the resulting river profile seen. | RiverCAD allows you to quickly determine the encroachment stations that match the allowable rise—an order of magnitude faster than the Army Corps’ HEC-RAS program. RiverCAD will allow you to see simultaneously, the incremental rise, velocity, and top width of the specified encroachments along the river, allowing you to quickly determine the appropriate target encroachment stations to use.
