Note that the ZIP file (mikenetppt.zip) actually contains three files. They are as follows:

1. Pngsetup.exe : Installer file for PPT file (MIKENET.ppt)

2. pres0.ppz : Support for installer.

3. Readme.txt : Instructions--the text of the message you are currently reading.

These files need to be unzipped into the same directory. Once unzipped, you can double-click on the Pngsetup.exe file. This will activate an "installation wizard". Basically, all it does is ask you where you want to put the files. Four files will be placed in the location designated during the Installation. They are:

1. MIKENET.ppt
2. Playlist.lst
3. trcenode.avi
4. submodel.avi

It is very important that none of these files be deleted, removed, changed, renamed, etc. After this, the file can be run by opening the MIKE NET PowerPoint file (MIKENET.ppt) from within this directory.

In addition, there are a couple of things you should know:

1. This presentation contains animations, so you must run it using the View Show option. You can get to this by launching PowerPoint, opening the PowerPoint file, and navigating to "View Show" option under the Slide Show drop-down menu.

2. Clicking the mouse advances the slides, as well as activates many of the animations, etc. Please wait a second or two after each animation before clicking the mouse again. If you click too rapidly, you will probably experience some sluggishness.

3. Slides 22 & 30 contain AVI animations. The AVI on slide 22 starts when you click while the AVI on slide 30 starts automatically after the bulleted point comes out. The animations may not be obvious at first, but give them a second or two, and you'll see them. The animation on slide 22 runs in a continuous loop, so when you've seen enough, you can click the mouse to proceed to the next slide. The animation on slide 30 runs once to completion, and then stops. When this animation stops moving, you can go on to the next slide by clicking the mouse.
